Who we are

The site is operated for the Sex Therapy Summit at sextherapysummit.com. For privacy questions, access, or deletion, email info@schoolofsextherapy.com.

What we collect when you register

If you register, we store your first name, last name, work email, country, specialty or role, and the city editions you choose. We use this to send joining instructions, issue CPD/CE records, generate your Summit Passport, and run the event. We do not sell registration lists.

Confirmation email is sent through our email provider (SendGrid). Registration records are stored in our database (Supabase).

If you subscribe in the site footer, we store your email to send edition announcements. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

Session data on this device

With your permission, this browser may keep a local session so the site can remember you after you close the tab. That can include:

• a signed-in profile for My Summit
• sessions you add to My Agenda
• passport stamps you earn
• questions you draft on this device
• an anonymous poll voter key and which options you chose

This lives in your browser (local storage), not in a tracking cookie. We only write it after you choose Allow. If you choose not to store a session, those items are not kept on this device after you leave. Registration on our servers is separate and still goes ahead if you complete the form.

You can change this preference in the box at the top of this page. Declining clears session data already stored in this browser.

Polls, directory and questions

Live poll votes are stored against an anonymous browser key, not against your name. The attendee directory is opt-in and off by default. If you opt in from My Summit, we store your name, country, specialty, interests, LinkedIn URL and chosen editions in our database so other attendees can match with you. We do not show your email in the directory.

Cookies

Hosts who sign in to the admin console receive a strictly necessary cookie (sts_admin) so that session stays signed in. It is HttpOnly, not used for advertising, and is not set for ordinary attendees.

How long we keep information

Registration records are kept for as long as needed to run the editions you joined and to issue educational records, then deleted or anonymised when they are no longer required. Browser session data stays until you clear it, change the preference above, or clear your browser storage.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct, or delete the registration information we hold, or to withdraw directory opt-in. Email info@schoolofsextherapy.com. You can also clear this browser's session with the controls on this page.

Children

The summit is a professional education event for clinicians and educators. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you should read the revised policy.
